The Marina & Nature Park Las Salinas de Santa Pola
Just a 500-meter walk from our camper site lies the charming village of La Marina. This charming Spanish village, untouched by mass tourism, exudes tranquility and authenticity.
In the pleasant main street, you'll find several cafés and restaurants where you can enjoy a snack and a drink in a relaxed atmosphere. La Marina also offers a varied selection of shops, including a local supermarket, pharmacy, drugstore, and tobacconist.
Near La Marina, you'll also find the beautiful Las Salinas de Santa Pola nature park, famous for its salt lakes and diverse flora and fauna. This park is a true paradise for birdwatchers and nature lovers. You can admire flamingos and other migratory birds during peaceful walks or bike rides.
El Pinet Beach – Sun, Sea & Enjoyment
Just one kilometer from our camper park lies the beautiful El Pinet Playa, a vast sandy beach where you can fully relax. Along the beach, you'll find several cozy beach restaurants with sea views.
There are also special zones available for naturists on the nearby naturist beaches.

The charming winery Los Carmelo's is located 1.5 kilometers from the village. Highly recommended for wine lovers, hikers, and cyclists.

El Hondo Natural Park & historic city of Elche
El Hondo Nature Reserve, located a little further inland, offers a stunning landscape with lakes, reed beds, and hiking trails. The park is ideal for a day in nature, far removed from the bustling coast.
La Marina is also close to Elche, known for its UNESCO World Heritage sites, such as the Palm Grove of Elche (El Palmeral) and the historic Basilica of Santa María. It's a perfect destination for a day trip packed with culture and history.
